    20201225_205057.jpg Merry Christmas all,

I have searched the web about this issue but to no avail. I just installed my first LED bulb replacement for the stock halogens on my 2017 DCLB TRD OR. I got the Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0s for low and high beam and they are sweet. Install took 5-10 minutes and didnt require removing the headlight assembly. Super easy and plug and play.

Issue 1: I have lost DRL functionality for my stock DRL. Interestingly they do come on when i switch it up one more to powering the tailights and interior switches/dimming dash. However, switching to DRL which leaves the dash at daytime brightness now does nothing.

Issue 2: The Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0 is advertised as having a driver built in for DRL. My understanding is when it detects a 6v current for the DRL it also powers the low beams at 10% brightness without the fan to act as DRLs. My low beams do not power on when I switch to DRL. Curious if anyone else has had this issue.

Merry Christmas and thanks for any help.

    Tom

Swap back the bulbs to stock and see what it does. I did the DD SL1s and no issues. May be the LEDs you bought since the low beams are suppose to be a DRL and that may be your issue.
