I was rained out that night.

I know I am WAY overdue on posting the results for these. I'm sorry you guys. I got side tracked on other projects like my supercharger install that went a bit sideways, and the 2nd Gen light test rack is a RPITA that requires 2 people for a distance test late enough at night it is completely dark. Fortunately I recently now have regular accessible help. I'm reluctant to promise any date at this point. But I can tell you the videos published by HR and others couldn't be more misleading (as usual) compared to actual product performance.

I hope I speak for everyone when saying thanks for all the testing you do, we greatly appreciate all of this so we don't waste money on snake oil products. I'm eager to see the results (at this point more for just entertainment and science) and just glad you are doing this at all.

Just installed the Amber versions on my truck. I ended up scratching the corner a bit getting it in place smh. It was a pain in the ***.
    They look great. Pics soon!

Moriomoto tech told me to put the fuse in the 10amp AC. Is that what any of yal did?

Did you remove the L bracket under the front bumper cover before installing the lights? That allows you to put them straight in rather than at an angle.

It's a lot easier if you loosen your front bumper

Just drove at night for the first time. Has a lot of foreground light and doesn’t throw the light as well as OEM. I am sure it is still 100x better than any other aftermarket.
As someone had said, it would be nice if the LED bar would turn on in DRL mode but it only turns on in Dtrl/full.
pretty satisfied so far (purely aesthetics based). Hopefully @crashnburn80 will have the numbers to give a better review.

truck covers usa roll cover, popnlock remote lock, iron cross running boards, p2 trailer Brake, rear view mirror upgrade with auto dim temp and homelink, yakima rack bars , goodyear wranglers, heated side mirrors with directional signal.
Been in contact with @Puppypunter, he makes a harness for third gen plug and play. Wanting my the led bar to come on with my DRL light switch on steering column or with headlights. He said it looks similar to the SR third gen that he has designed.....He looking into it, said it looks like it might just be a matter of different connectors....any others gen 2 guys with these morimoto XB headlights interested.....

For what it's worth. I still need to adjust the horizontal if it's possible.

Is there a way to line up the aim without having to use the oem specs? I really don’t feel like installing my OEM just to aim. Laziness haha

You're definitely low, but that pattern leaves a lot to be desired. And "600% brighter than OEM?" I think not.

If yours are indeed lower, I'd say 45 MPH is about maximum speed at night to avoid over driving them. Not my idea of an optimum situation.

How do you aim yours? Without having to put back in OEM to match?
