night shot with the headlights and the fogs. Mind you it was a dark freeway. Love these lights. Adjusted it to my liking. I also made my own connection to switch On and Off the DRL .

Just ordered mine. Was waiting on Crash’s review, but I see everyone pretty happy so I decided to jump in. Any details on the switch @JKidTaco13?

Yes, basically all I did was purchased a 10amp rocker switch from Amazon and spliced it in between the wire that powers the DRL.

You pretty much measure the wire to how long you want it and then cut, splice and crimp a female connector on both sides of the cut. Then you connect those to the rocker switch.

Here's my rocker switch that I used. Basically flip up to turn ON the DRL and flip down to turn OFF the DRL.

In this picture it shows that it's on. I had the option to connect the other connections behind the switch to illuminate the picture and words as well but I'll probably do that later. My main reason was to turn ON & OFF the DRL on the Morimoto.

Another way I'd would have done it was to tap the wires with the stock DRL to turn on the XB's DRL together but you won't be able to turn off either one if you wanted to. That's why I went with the rocker switch route.

Good stuff. I was wondering if everything still functioned as usual w no power to the C-bar, specifically, does the C-bar dim when you activate the parking and or headlights?

Yes it is still functional even with that wire disconnected. Seems like there are independent connections to the DRL on these headlights. One connection for the actual DRL (which is the brightest setting) and another connection (which ties with the parking light harness - cuts the DRL power and illuminates the parking light which is the dim setting). I had to try it for myself and see how everything works before I put my truck back together Lol.

Just put my ambers in. I didn’t hook up the drl harness because I don’t want them on all the time. Eventually I’ll wire it to a switch.

I just popped the side of the bumper so I could remove the small plastic piece that the trim below the light clips into. Makes it way easier to get them in. I spent a little time aiming them but need to move the drivers a little right to be perfect.

Output picture. Just need to aim the drivers light a hair more to the right to be perfect.

Ok, took a few proper pics today after I finished the DRL wiring and a quick wash. These lights are absolutely insane. The DRL is so crazy bright day or night, I’m thinking I’m gonna get pulled over for it lol. Huge improvement over stock, worth every penny.
