I understand everything very well. I just don’t understand explaining them over, and over, and over again.

I have explained my adventure into this mod was in 2017. It ended in 2019. But you and the other asshats don’t seem to get it and seem completely triggered when someone offers something counter to your experience and beliefs.

    Yall win!

Clearly we're all very triggered. Thanks for the insight and anecdotal information about your old headlights.

The 4banger fogs are actually poor for fog use. It isn't designed to be a foglight but happens to meet the SAE J583 F fog compliance standard. A fogs purpose is to illuminate the sides of the roadway at low speeds so you can navigate in poor weather conditions. The 4banger puts very little light to the edge of the roadway compared to the SS3s that have a much wider beam pattern. Check out the review links below.

I absolutely love my DD SS3 Pro fogs, it's stupid how much output it pumps out. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth going to the MAX or if it would be too much light.

The Max has better cut offs with less light spill above the cut off and in selective yellow have a notably hotter lens due to greater color correction. So while being a fair amount brighter, they are actually significantly better toward oncoming drivers and also do a better job of melting snow.

Cut off would be something worth going for, I have my Pros aimed all the way down and I feel like the light spill on the pros are still high.

It really is, only down-side of max is no 4000k option.

In my experience all drop in LED bulbs are crap.

Also highly recommend diode dynamics SS3 fogs. I have the amber SS3 pros and couldn't be happier with them.

+1 on the SS3 MAX SAE fogs. We are constantly out in the country side after sunset, and these have spotted everything. I tend to turn them off for oncoming cars so I don't blind them, and around town. They are that bright!

@crashnburn80 clearly knows more factual info than I. I read his write ups top to bottom and got lost in the first paragraph. That said, you will love the Morimotos and not regret the spend of $200 once you have them in.
