    You are correct. There is no drilling required for the Morimoto Minis. They drop in the housing and are secured to it by the lock nut on the back. There is a three prong alignment ring that is used to get your rotational alignment about the projector's longitudinal axis. The projectors are fairly easy to install, the shrouds are what takes time and patience to get right.

    Great wright up! U make it look easy...is it possible to put an led angel eye inside the apallo shroud? Or do I have to purchase a different shroud that would let light through? Thanks

    I just bought the same set up for my 2014 tacoma. I did everything just as you did, but when I put them in they pointed every direction. I tried to adjust them but it was pretty tough because of the notch for 9003. How did you adjust and focus your head lights? Thanks!

    Any updates on your issue? Would really like to save some $$$ doing this myself, but at the risk of having to buy new headlamp assemblies because of a screw up, I'd almost rather have a "pro" do my retro....
