I was super tired this morning and forgot to pay attention to mine, but if yalls still move I'm sure mine do to. I tell you what though, the morimoto led fog lights are bad ass.

Are they available in Amber/yellow? In my experience a super bright light is the opposite of what I want in snow and fog.

I've gone that route before but the light seems to wash out pretty bad with the film. I might just go with a set of ion Krystal bulbs instead. I'm also concerned with ballast reliability being that low and subject to water, slush, snow, salt, etc.

There is no ballast's with the led fog lights. And even if there was they are completely waterproof!!!

The fog lights have a better seal than the stock fogs with bulbs in them, actually. :)

So @TRSAndrew are you guys willing to send replacement bulbs to those who have had problems with the bulbs moving around when hitting bumps?

There's nothing wrong with the bulbs by design. This is the only instance I've heard of it, but we'll be glad to check it out and figure out a solution for those affected.

Why don't you go to with VLEDS Yellow LED Fogs?

We grabbed a few different styles of Halogen H11 projectors like what the '16 has as well as a few styles of H11B HID bulbs to test out. The only thing we could find here is that if you apply serious pressure on the bulb in a certain direction, you could get the rubber grommet to flex a bit and allow the bulb to flex a bit in the socket. Certainly nothing major from what we saw though.

One thing we did find is that the distance between the back of the splines and the front of the rubber grommet is actually closer on the HID bulbs than it is on the OEM halogen bulbs:

    akkhu8_b12921b9d6063f4eaf5cfbbaa70e42f61b2db4f3.jpg

This would increase the pressure of the bulb in the socket causing the force to be even more required for any sort of flex in the socket.

Having said that, we can request the manufacturer increase the density of these grommets on future shipments to minimize the "socket flex". For anyone who wants to get the new model, I will make a notification that they are available to find any interested parties. Replacements would be shipped free of charge.

We admittedly don't have a '16 Tacoma handy here yet, but are working on sourcing a headlight to use for testing.
