I was wondering if a oem 2015 switch would fit in the spot by the clutch cancel switch?

I had my 6500k 50w Xenons and LED fogs installed today! Used the OE grommet and they shook over continuous bumps in the road. This actually does bother me that they shake. The light output is a huge improvement, but if we see the shaking, then other vehicles see it. TRS needs to establish a fix for this.

I ran into small businesses selling unproven products when tuning my 370Z and it drove me insane! I didn't seem to have these issues with all the past German cars I've tuned... but anyway.

The shaking was that bad huh? I might have to wait it out till they fix this.
Did you try using your original grommet?

By the way, sweet looking truck!

I am now a member of the wait until they get the shake issue remediated. Too much money for something that still needs to be tweaked.

Any updates on the shaking issue? My truck comes in tomorrow, and After driving the 2015 Rav4 Limited the dealer gave me while I waited, the factory projectors definitely need a brighter fire inside.

Anyone know how to adjust the projectors down? After leveling the front I'm getting flashed with these bad boys....

There is 2 screws u use to adjust them down a little with about a 10" Phillips screw driver!
Counter clockwise is up and clockwise is down!

It's only been a few days, so unfortunately not. I will have a 2016 Tacoma headlight here on Wednesday I think to play with. I'll know more then.

I got my '16 Tacoma light in and the verdict is...

    2u6hegh_6f89a115e6dcb0a5a53c6ff76f281c262d58c400.jpg

No issues. There is a minor amount of play (nothing unusual) with the XB2 bulbs (grey and black bulb wires), but with the halogen grommet, there is virtually none. With the new XB3 bulbs (black bulb wires), it is SUPER tight and no movement with really trying to force it. Absolutely nothing abnormal here, to be honest.

In other news, the H11 LED bulbs fit perfectly in the high beam spot.

Did the XB3 bulbs just come out? How do we know which we have installed

Bulb wire colors as mentioned. You should probably have XB2s.

Yea I remember the black/gray wires. So I should try and swap the grommet for the stock halogen one to see if it tightens them up enough to stop the movement?

It does improve it, but even with the existing grommets, this is not any serious play at all. Normal for aftermarket bulbs from what I can see--only with H11 though oddly.

Yea the play is not significant, just enough that small road imperfections cause the bulb to wobble. Being a projector the effect is amplified on the road

Andrew, are the bulbs in the group buy the new XB3s?

No they are not. Like I mentioned, even with the XB2s you will not have any issues. There's almost no play in these stock projectors.

It's not an issue as much as it's just an annoyance
