    Pretty much stock
I wonder the same thing, I added a small rubber ring around my stock grommet and that bulb is tight!

It still shakes, not as bad though. But it can't get any tighter.

It's probably designed to vibrate on purpose. Probably some nifty feature where at night the headlights vibrate slightly on bumpy roads, which will sync with your head moving around in the truck, and the net result they will cancel each other out. If you actually observe the vibration, then your probably out of sync with your truck. o_O:burnrubber:

I received my Morimoto elite hid kit for my headlights today.

I have them all hooked up as per the labels on the wires, but I can't get the things to turn on.. I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

    I GOT IT.

I went and bought a multimeter and traced out the issue..

The kit came with this extra set of cables.. I didn't realize the the oem plug prongs werent actually inserting into the oem plug, even though it looked like it was on there good, it even clicked! The extra set of cables, I had to put together the female end with the parts provided, and then it connected.

    bright as hell!

I purchased Morimoto 50w 6500k Hid kit and love the look of them at night they light the road up very nicely. The drawback is that they have a very bad vibration, mine aren't just with rough roads the slightest imperfections in the road make them bounce around. Before I installed I read to swap oem gaskets out which I did and still really bad vibration. I wish I would have read it before I purchased. Is there a fix for this yet?? Ordered through https://www.theretrofitsource.com

mine definitely have some vibration.. but it's not that bad really, i think i just notice it now because I'm picky with them since they are brand new.

It's pretty minor, getting over it fairly quickly

Any resolution on resolving on the hid bounce? I was close to pulling the trigger on this bundle but with the reports of the bounce, it kind of steers me away.

I just received and installed mine a week and a half ago and have only once got it to bounce, and 80% of my driving is at night. And that happened on a really shitty dirt road. I did switch the oem grommets over. I have zero regrets on buying this kit. I purchased the 35w 5500k hids as well as the 5000k led fogs.

I'm getting ready to just order some DDM's. It sucks that I paid $150 for a somewhat flawed product, but the streets of Seattle area don't help. These streets are rough from the constant rain and my vibrating is a lot more noticeable than I would like.
