yup its a bummer for the kit 2nd time around. but so far the TRS guys doesnt say anything or have a fix to is since its many people having this issue and they just need to admit theres some bugs in their kits/parts

So here are 3 pics..first is just 2stroke in low beams, 2nd is 2strokes and xb fogs and 3rd is just xb fogs. Camera definitely makes em look more intense then they are but to me both are much better than stock halogens..

The fogs fall just under the low beams which is where I like em

If you decide to switch back to halogens you might want to check out the Hella Optilux Extreme Yellows..pretty cheap on Amazon like $35

I know what the problem is with the h11 b morimoto for 16+ Tacoma.

It's the O rings or gourmet rings, they are too soft compared to the stock. I turn them off with engine off and I can wiggle it so when you drive it shakes from the vibration.

I put the stock halogen bulbs in and try to wiggle it= no play or movement

Does anyone know how to solve this due to the O rings too soft and the stock O rings to short for these morimoto bulbs? @TRSAndrew

I have the same question.... even made a thread about it, but I guess I should have posted it here. I ended up sticking the factory seal onto the HID even though shorter in stack height, but less vibes and jitters than the "harder" included seals in the morimoto kit.

The kit I ordered yesterday says it comes with upgraded o rings to eliminate that vibration.

The O ring look the same. I still have my old o rings from the kit for my 2016 back in October of 2015, the new kit I order for my 2017 Tacoma same or rings.

I played around with the stock O rings and it's stiffer but shorter in height.

The morimoto kit just needs stiffer O rings so there's no wiggle play.
These bulbs aren't oem fit that's why

I wonder if you ordered the right kit. They now have a kit specific to 3G that shows upgraded o-rings as an option:

Well I knew this was going to happen do I called in and ask - if I need to make any special requests, the cs rep said all the H11B automatically comes with higher density O rings..... I guess my kit didn't at all

I just bought the new kit for 2016+ tacomas (with the better o-ring). I'll let you know if I see any jiggle with them installed. If they suck I'll send them back and go for XenonDepot. I bought a set from them on the wife's Yukon and they're VERY nice.

reply back with your review if you don't mind. I want to pull the trigger on these but I'd like to be sure the problem has been resolved with the new o-rings..

You guys should try the 4500k bulbs from TRS, I have them and no bounce.
