Nothing. You can pull them out. The instructions say to cut them out but this isn't necessary.

My guess is they use the same harness for different applications like a high/low beam kit.

So I installed the hids last night and everything works the lights are stupid bright but I noticed that one of the ballast makes a buzzing sound. Is it normal for one to do it and not the other?

Seems like mine do it initially until they get going and then settle down.

Also I think I'm gonna have to adjust the headlights down a bit I feel like they are a tad to high. Is that hard to do?

should be in your owners manual. I think rule of thumb is aim it so the cutoff is at the bottom of your side mirror at 25ft

Typically comes with the HIDs themselves. Also depends on the kit you get.

Can anyone post some pics of where they mounted their ballasts and igniters?

    Other Ballast (passenger side):

I tried to tuck them under the side covers along the inside of the fenders. The ignitors are under there too with double sided tape.

I used heavy duty adhesive Velcro, and stored everything underneath the plastic guards on either fender. Keeps everything hidden, dry, and out of the way. The relays got mounted to one of the shroud bolts.

I didn't use morimoto relay or ballasts but I suspect you could make the same locations work for you

    Would this void manufacturers warranty?

There is no voiding of a warranty. There may be a denial for a claim if it's determined HIDs were a root factor or contributor to a specific problem but they cannot void your warranty.

That sounds like a good place.
I have a lot going on in my engine bay right now, SSO bumper and winch, off-grid dual battery. I played around in the engine bay for 30 mins or so and couldn't find anywhere to my liking.

Can you describe a bit more where in the fender you stashed them?

I'm at work right now so I can't dig through this thread, but I've posted pictures earlier. Unfortunately I deleted the pictures on my phone. I'll dig around later and see if I can repost for ya.
