I imagine Toyota uses permaseal on the new Tacoma lights, as all other models are going permaseal as well. It's a bit more difficult than standard butyl to get into, but entirely doable.

The RX350 Non-AFS is a direct swap, so that would be my recommendation. I'll go Bi-LED on my '16 Tacoma when I get one next year, though. :)

Does this product void Toyota warranties?

Not sure, vehicle warranties... I really like to idea of upgrading my lights, but don't want to mess with warranties.

Talking about the vehicle, not the bulbs... I assume the answer is no by implication.

If you change out your headlight bulbs you aren't going to void the factory warranty!!!!

Your not going to loose your warranty over aftermarket lighting

Okay, I'm really on the fence about these. I'm concerned about the reliability of the HID lights going out. Has anyone had these long term with no problems? If there were problems, was it an easy fix since it seems you could swap out components? Also, I contacted a Premier Authorized Dealer for a quote and was quoted $70 higher for the parts than advertised + installation. They also wouldn't wave the tax since I live out of state (which does not charge tax). Their suggestion was to get the parts shipped to me and bring them over for the installation. That way, they couldn't charge tax, but labor is taxed too?! My thought is to just go with the LED fogs and skip the HID until there's a better plug n play system out there for the lows. Thoughts?!

You won't have a better HID system for the low beams for the foreseeable future. If you do find better, buy it.

No one can have this exact system on a '16 Tacoma long-term, because the truck's only been out a few months. Otherwise, we have tens of thousands using the same parts on other vehicles with <1% failure rate overall, which is unheard of for aftermarket parts.

I can't adjust pricing through another dealer unfortunately. Pick it up from us, do the install yourself, and save all that money for something else. We only have to charge tax in the state of GA.

@ericsan777 you should just do the install yourself man. It is a straightforward process that all it requires is some cleverness on how to run the wires within the engine bay and lots of electrical tape (the latter being a personal preference). As for reliability, TRS offers a 5-year warranty on their products, so you should be fine for quite some time.

Yeah, I'll probably get the whole ball of wax and dive right in. I live in a small village so I can't take it back to a shop and say, "fix it", so this way if something goes wrong, I know where to look. Thanks for the advice guys!!!

Good to know!!! I'll probably order after I get my truck... Probably won't get to me in time. Even next day air can take a week to get where I live.
