    Hey,

Just had a question as I am looking to upgrade the bulbs. Is there anyone on here that runs the Morimoto Elites in their headlights and fogs? and if so any opinion or advice on them?

Yes I have them and honestly the a re a huge disappointment as our stock projectors are trash.

It just a whiter color but dont expect more output unless you do a full retrofit and install new projectors made for HIDs. I got my moris on sale too and feel like I wasted money.

We need 55w but then will have to adjust lights down a bit.

I have 35w with 4500k for my low beam and the Morimoto XB LED fog lights and love them. I think they’re a great upgrade.

I went with aux beam lighting.... I was a little weary until I went to a mustang car show and there rep in his mustang made my Hid’s look weak. A plus is they’re cheaper lol

Search the lighting forum tons of info in there. I disagree with above, for the cost of a drop in HID kit its a good deal for the increase in output compared to cost.

Your other option is to retrofit a different projector into the stock housing, most popular being the rx350 as they're are a direct swap (same bolt pattern as stock). This route is significantly more than a HID kit.

Haha, OP this is a rare and isolated opinion. A nice set of HIDs (which morimotos are) are excellent in the stock projectors. Significantly better light output than halogens. Almost makes me think this dude's set is broken. The RX350 retrofit is nice no doubt but you get a solid 80%+ of the way there by just swapping in a quality set of HIDs.

I can link a $50 dollar kit that matches the Moris, which was the one I was using before I jumped on the bandwagon.

Again I'm not sayuing the Moris are bad but for the money without a retro it's a waste.
