I also wanted OEM LED assemblies originally, but it’s much harder to get them here in Canada.

Morimoto XBs seems like a valid option, given that it’s already blacked out and it doesn’t require a harness to connect. I ended up getting the accompanying Meso lights as well.

Overall I’m satisfied. I would still like the OEM LEDs, but the Morimotos would do for now.

I have the amber drl on mine. I don’t think they are as bright as the alpharex when I had them. The amber drl are bright when the headlights are on too.

Drl dims when headlights/low beams turn on. Drl in drl mode is brighter with fuse tap for me too

The hood and fender lines look off too.

Hah good catch! I use dual switches for my Baja Designs S8 bar, and I promise you the amber backlights are not turned on all the time.

Is this even normal? Do all assembly come like this? I'm in the process of returning it for a replacement, but if it comes like this i dont want to waste money on shipping

That is disappointing considering the price of it. Any way to make the gap closer? i'm frustrated with how it fits. I almost feel like regretting changing the OEM

My thoughts exactly. Really disappointing because the lights themselves are beautiful.

I recently bought a used set of OEM LEDs off ebay for about $450. Minor scratches on the lens and one headlight tab that needed to be welded back on.
