Ok fellas, hoping someone can help me out. I have searched everywhere and haven't seen someone ask this question. I have the morimoto ballast with the fx-r's. Love them! Have had them for over a year now and no problems. Well, I went back to better seal them up and I am not happy with my rubber grommet and the amount of gap that I have. So, I ordered some of the aftermarket ones on TRS, but when I tried to get the orange bulb plug thru, I ripped one of them pretty bad. I am kinda OCD and like everything perfect! lol...

Anyways, my question is, can you remove the wires going into the plug? It looks like the plug comes apart and there is just a metal clamp holding it together. My idea is, if I can take that apart, I can make a small hole in the rubber grommet big enough for the wires to come thru and then reattach the plug. Has anyone done this or know if it is possible? Thanks for any help and this is a picture of what they look like:
