    So that kit you ordered will include a wiring harness that runs to a 3-position switch that toggles on/off/backlight. So if you aren't trying to do anything crazy you'll have everything you need!

    Hey @memario1214, I know I'm waiting until the last minute but what are your thoughts on upgraded light setups? I have a bare bones stock Tacoma Off-Road and looking at either the hidden bumper light or some ss3 pros. What do you think would be the best first purchase? Most of my off-roading is fire and dirt roads here in SoCal, but looking to do more night runs here and there. Thank you.

    Do you find that most of the time where you’ll be needing more light is in a scenario which you will not be operating into oncoming traffic? If so, the best value for performance for you is going to be the light bar kit. I don’t think that SoCal gets a ton of weather so the proposition of upgraded fogs aside from some aesthetics isn’t quite as moving.

    The backlight feature is a strictly aesthetic feature that illuminates the housing without turning on the main beam. It's a feature and makes for a cool "running light" effect. I shared some examples here:

    Hmm...now I'm considering upgrading my SAE sports. I don't suppose you can take the bezel off and relocate the fogs to the A-pillar.

    E: After reading about the throw pattern this probably wouldn't work well for my needs. I should be getting the combo for the A-pillar.

    To completely make that swap you would need standard bezels, a different lens, and universal brackets. What were you considering replacing them with? Pros, maxes, something backlit?
