    Hello World,

Looking for some advice - I recently purchased/installed the Gen2 Morimoto XB Headlights on my 2021 TRD Sport. I'm having issues with the drivers side low beam not working. The high beams work fine - I was blowing the drivers side/low beam fuse when trying to use the low beams. Replaced fuse, immediately blown when tried again. Thought it could be a polarity issue with the low beam plug so I swapped them. Now the fuse isn't blowing, but the lows still don't work. I know the LEDs work - they come on during the fancy startup sequence, but I know those are connected to the DRLs. Anybody have any thoughts? These were expensive and it's driving me nuts... plus I would like to drive at night.. thanks all.

@baboolian Yes, I did. I ended up having to swap the polarity on the high or low beam - it was a little while ago and I can't quite remember. If you mess around with swapping them you should eventually get it, may take some trial and error. Good luck.

I'm glad you figured it out! I got to the same conclusion after about 10 blown fuses. Had to flip the polarity on the high beam harness. Currently I just have it plugged in upside down, so it's not locked in place. Eventually will get around to taking the plug apart and swapping the cables.

Did you sell your OEM leds?

I don't believe he has oem leds based on the wiring I'm looking at. It's difficult to wire morimoto xbs to a TRD with oem led wiring. It's very different from non native led stock/halogen headlights (sr5 amber / L shape drl)

I just finished installing the gen 2 xbs into my truck from factory LED and without a doubt the most difficult part was configuring the morimoto wiring harness into the morimoto headlight. I had to flip both low beams opposite of the clips for the correct polarities to match. They don't have any instructions online either, as far as I could find, that explained that neither of the low beam plugs actually clip in. From what I've read though it looks like the issue isn't specific to the low beams and they just don't QC the wiring harnesses.

Correct, did not have OEM LED's - just the halogens with the the LED DRLs.
