The 2011 is about twice the size... you could make an adaptor but it would look silly.

It would be nice is TRS put out a 05-11 LED fog, but i doubt it is in the works.

Sorry I'm a lighting noob! What's the difference between these kits and getting LED bulbs for the stock fog housing?

 

You will get better pattern and probably better fit, not to mention the price with the group buy coupon.

LED bulbs in the stock housings will perform poorly and likely just change the color of the light. There's no good optics in a halogen reflector for an LED bulb at least from a forward lighting perspective.

The XB LED fog light housings are 100% sealed, require no additional parts, and have a polycarbonate lens inside to project all of the light in a broad but shallow pattern.

If i have a TRS retrofitted headlights and using your TRS moto control harness, how would I tap these fogs to your TRS motocontrol harness???
How easy is this? last thing i want to do is mess up my flawless retrofitted headlights

That is really my only question and I am ready to buy. My 2013 Tacoma did not come pre wired for fogs


Edit: k Andrew I just spoke to Jamel (probably mispelled his name) so basically if i wanted a plug and play from the fog to the existing TRS motocontrol harness, I would have to get a high beam splitter so i can have to connections fromt the harness (one for the ballast and one for the fog), then get a few of your 9006 extension so it can reach far enough, and lastly two 9006 connector (do i need male or female) so i could connect it to the extension ?

and I think i got those 9006 connectors when you guys sent me my retrofit kit (test wire)?

 

Wow ordered mine monday and received today and after 20 mins got it installed and running I love it

 

Got my LED fogs today. They installed in no time and they are a huge improvement over the stock fogs!

Best part is I emailed them and they honored the group buy price despite me buying them a day early.

The best way to set this up is to just split off of the ballast output and make that run to the input of a relay harness for the fog lights. This way the fog lights are on automatically every time the low beams are. You just need a standard splitter for this and a 9006 relay harness.
