Mormons... Not as weird, odd, and strange as you might think

This is a shout out to all you fellow Mormons lurking here on Tacoma World as well as to others who may not know what we are all about. There are many misconceptions about our religion, but I am hear to pronounce that we really aren't all that different than you and your neighbors (In fact, some of your neighbors may be Mormons). Here is a brief breakdown of my beliefs/ideals:

• I believe in Jesus Christ and that he is the Savior of our world
• I only have one wife
• I only have 3 children
• My 3 children are, at times, 3 too many
• I own a Tacoma and wheel the Hell out of it
• I occasionally swear
• I don't drink beer, but absolutely DO NOT judge you for drinking it
• Yes, I knocked on stranger's doors for two years, but I DO NOT believe my religion is the only way to exaltation
• If I knock on your door I am there to say hello, not convert you
• If you choose not to share my beliefs.... I STILL LIKE YOU
• I am relatively happy, but I've got problems I'm dealing with just like everyone else
• Ask me about our temples. I would love to tell you anything you would like to know
• I would love to hear about your religion and/or your beliefs.

Props, elders landscaped my elderly grandparent's yard. She was Jehova witness. Elders didn't know what they walked into.

 

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to discuss religion around TW. I don't give a rats ass what you wanna discuss, but the mods around here do!
