JS started teaching it around 1831. Started practicing it around 1835. It was kept relatively secret until Young in 1852 announced it as doctrine. (Journal of Discourses 4:56)

If you look up the census records starting in 1850 until 1890 when Woodruff's Manifesto came about you'll see that there were actually more men than women the entire time.

 

Really it's any tea but my wife drinks herbal tea when she is sick. The easy answer is coffee and tea have tanic acid in them. The reason is that we were commanded to not consume strong drink, hot drink, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and eat red meat in moderation. And in return for doing this, you stay healthy. It took science 200 years to catch up to this.

No drugs, sex, or alcohol is allowed.
They believe that there is only ONE, Jesus.
They go to church all day Sunday and 5 to 9 on Wednesdays.
Many other things they do, but in all they are awesome people.



Most Mormon girls are DAMN FINE!!! I talked to one for 5 months,
My friends (same girl) parents are basically my second family and her, her brother and her sister are the siblings I never had. We rarely fight. Im always over at their house or they are at my house.

Only a few of her friends tried to convert me (Basically because thats what their Leader asks for-its more of a Cult than a Religion) but I told them what I believe in and Thanked them for their time to show me-You know just being nice.

My "second family" hasn't done that once. They arent a HUGE believer but they do participate enough to be known as Mormons.

 

We spend money on Mondays. We have sex with our spouses, how else would we have so many kids. How many Jesus' are there? We attend church for 3 hours on Sunday. There are some church activities on Wednesday but we don't all attend them. If by our leader you mean Jesus then yes he instructed his followers to spread his gospel.

Well dont you guys believe something more to another side than Christians? I havent looked much into it, Most of what I said is what I've gathered up in the 3/4 year I've been around a Mormon Family.

 

OH BTW homosexuality is almost but not quite hated. complete disapproval. if you are gay they will think something is wrong with you.

For Christians God made everything, If I'm understanding it right, Jesus and the founder of Mormonism believe that Jesus and only Jesus made everything.

 

Somewhat right. We believe that Jesus created the earth under the direction of God. We believe that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are separate beings. Mormon.org has more info.

Around here Mormons are young men that ride bikes around and bother you when you are right in the middle of something. Should be against the law.

I don't usually post (lurk every day though ) but I'll play in to this one. Christmas, you bet (Christ's birth, so it's right up our 'ally' so to speak), Easter, sure, Halloween, St. Patricks (corn beef is awesome). If you get off work for it or find it on the calendar, it's observed like most folks would.
