    Tapping=machining is a bit of a stretch IMO but I get that it still costs machine time.

    Tubular racks are not as easy to mount stuff to, but you can buy a lot of these for the extra $270 https://www.mcmaster.com/11355T76/

    Like I said before, the choice to post this in a thread about strongest yet affordable RTT racks is lost on me.
