How wheels look to a person is highly subjective, it is after all a very personal "feel" of what looks best. For me, I hated the stock wheels, took the off as soon as I could. I have never found an OEM wheel I kept on any of my trucks, from any vehicle brand.. ever. 2020 TRD Pro 4R wheels come extremely close... of those were on the Tacoma I most likely would have kept them.

    What came with my truck:

I replaced those with Vision MANX 2 and Wildpeaks 265/70 R17, I love the new look. I only do light off-road so going to keep it stock height for the foreseeable future:

Reason I want F5s in gunmetal. Sexy.

Then I see a black runner with gunmetal or bronze and wish my truck was black lol. Never ends aha.

I decided to never own another black vehicle after my last truck.. it looks awesome for the first 20 minutes after a good bath.. then the dust starts to show, finger prints, ever little spec of dirt, debris, if someone sneezes in the direction of the truck....

Anthracite colored wheels look best on Black, white and red Tacos. I don't think it would work with cement or magnetic

No idea what you mean by that term. Gunmetal? Bronze?

I kind of agree with the OP; I like a few wheels out there but couldn't find one I liked better than the stock TRD OR or Pro wheels. But thanks to this thread I finally found a wheel I want: the American Racing ATX195 posted by @Ravnikar610

Unfortunately, they might not be available any more. I can't find them in stock anywhere :(

It is its own color name. Toyota used that color grey officially on the TRD FJ cruiser.

    Google Anthracite wheels for examples.

I guess it's similar to gunmetal

I feel your pain, always dirty. BUT that was when I owned exclusively black cars that don’t go off-road lol. This 2.7 is in the family for good so I’m stuck with mgm unless magic happens.

    Oh...

I did google it lol... You quoted my pics of gunmetal scs wheels so confused since I posted this shortly before aha. To each their own I guess, but this is pretty colored matched and good looking.

I do agree though it looks better on black white and red. Mgm is a tough color to work with wheel wise.

I love the bronze Ray10 just not sure if I like it on mgm.

The large tires break up the Grey's enough on that truck. It looks equally good and is my fav color wheel. It did not look good on my cement 2018 so I had to go black

I don’t blame you. I STILL want black ray10s. MGM to me is not a standout color anyways and trying to make it so with wheels that “pop” looks goofy IMO.

Besides, what really catches my eye is a proper lift and big ‘ole meats!

I concur!!! I just received my 2020 TRD wheels and center caps. Bonus: nothing fits better than an OEM part...

And personally I think the tires go well with the wheels too.

I might get 265/75 16" in the same style tire.
