The place that did them (Primos) in SoCal has a one day turn around. The normal is $480 for flat and satins. The gloss black set me back an extra $100. They get your car in by 8am, out by 5pm. Even had them mount my new tires since they had to rebalance the tires after the powder coating. Think they have a great idea with the one day package.

I run lightweight wheels on my racecar and on my Tacoma. For the racecar, it's obvious why I do. For the truck, if I am running 50-60 lb tires, a 17 lb wheel helps make up for some of the added tire weight. Additionally, the stock wheels on the Tacoma can't clear every suspension setup and I'd rather not run spacers.

All black wheels look the same at night, all black wheels look the same driving by. All black wheels look the same from a couple hundred feet away. Cheap black wheels and a very expensive black wheels look exactly the same. The cheapest wheel ever made was a black steel wheel. companies and manufacturers love black wheels because they’re super cheap and easy.

Ill agree with the OP that Toyota OEM wheels look good on a taco, however, they are the OEM wheels from either a 4Runner Pro or 4Runner trail/OR. Personally, I cannot stand the Sport wheels.

I always liked those 4-Runner wheels. Been thinking about picking up a set and powder coating them all black.

I like most wheels (OEM and aftermarket) with 5 or 6 spokes anything more than that looks weird.

This thread has so much winning going on I'm going to need to drink cobra venom to recover from it. It's rivaling a thread that occurred back in the late 90's on the R6 forum about which slip on exhaust sounded best.

That is hands down my favorite wheel I've seen on the 3rd gen so far. Sema TRD you say.... hmmmm.... Those are my new wheels. Wow. Those are the ones. Damn, wish I saw those before I got the spacers and 32s.
