Can anyone tell me how to make it so all my doors unlock when the ignition is turned off. I feel like sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. Most of the time they don’t. I have a 18 MT. With a family, it’s such a pita to get out pull the handle, then have to pull the keys out, no keyless entry with manuals, and unlock the truck. Rant over.
    Thanks for the assistance.

Check your owners manual, I think there's a way you can change that. I changed mine but I also have an auto so not sure if the MT would be the same.

Its in your trucks setting screen. Under like driver settings or some shit. Im not sure there is an ignition off one but you can change what locks and unlocks when you shift to or from park

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
But OP has a manual tranny. It may be a dealer customizable feature with a manual trans.

Has the OP checked the manual yet, or still waiting for us to give the answer?

    Guys,
The lock screens are available in the vehicle functions setting on the touch screen. However, they do not always work appropriately and it’s driving me nuts. Does anyone else have experience with the same thing? Maybe I’m opening the door too soon or what?
Also, for those who need to hear this. Please stop posting “check the manual”. Just another way of saying “I have no clue but I’d like to respond”. Unnecessary comments make this forum so hard to find answers. General chat is for the general chat forums.

well to be clear, you did not mention you already found and adjusted the setting in your first post, that would have been an important piece of info, had you not wanted those suggestions. Many come here to simply post questions, before they read the manual.
Anyways, to get to your problem; I don't know, I think you may have to take it to the dealer or a good tech to do some digging. If it works intermittently, it makes me think something electrical or BCM related,,, but I'm no tech :D

My 18 manual unlocks all the doors if I turn the truck off and then open the drivers door, if I open the door with the engine running, it doesn't unlock any other doors. I'm good with that.

Good tip! This might be the issue. I am the kid of person who sprints everywhere and it’s definitely possible I have my hand on the door handle and my keys at the same time. I’ll pay attention and see if that is the issue.

The way I have my 6mt set up, the doors are never locked unless I lock them. I disabled all the auto-locking features. I much happier that way.

I have an AT and I believe all doors unlock when I press the Engine Start button.

I found that if it is set to unlock when you turn off the truck it does work. But you can not open the drivers door before shutting off the engine. I was getting a bit frustrated as well. Then I turned the locking features off and I lock the doors when I want to. Hope this helps. And another thing, manuals rule and are too cool, automatics are for fools that drool!

    @apriliaalex

Looks like the AT and MT have different settings.

Plus, you have 2018 and mine is 2021 so the display system is different.

That page explains for AT...didn't see where it explains for MT.

AND he doesn't have a SMART key.

EDIT: Page 124 does have a workaround for non-smart key system.
