If you would have searched you could have found there are several other threads on this topic.

 

The number 1 for me is the drum brake whine and pissing contest.

"why does a 40K truck have drum brakes?"
"Drum brakes suck"
"Disc brakes are newer,safer"


.... Blah blah boo friggin hooo

 

On the flip side - most folks on here are quite helpful, so just ignore the BS. The person who stonewalls and directs you to a deep escalation of search history will quickly be followed by a kind soul willing to impart some knowledge when you need it most

Easily the most annoying response to a thread is @jberry813 saying what I can only assume is "Jibbs is a really swell dude and his truck is tastefully modded and a true ambassador for third gens everywhere." Annoying because all I can see when I try to read it is "You've been banned for being rude to a member's mother"

 

I'm subtly bemoaning the fact that it's hard to see what you actually got the hammer for when you get the hammer because you can't log in to see the memorial thread lol

 

How does one tell if you are off-topic in the 3rd Gen (i.e. most fun) Forum? Most topics in there start that way.
