    There's no difference at all between a Bilstein 4600 HD (stock TRD shock) and the 5100 for stock height trucks. Aside from the shock body finish, they're literally identical internally.

    Good to know, I honestly had no idea about that. But for lifted trucks there is definitely an advantage and they will ride better correct?

    I went with 887 springs and "soft ride shock" as an option on the headstrong site. full dakar leaf packs. had same kit on my 4runner. really think tires have more to do with ride than anything.

    Anyone familiar with Bilstein's 6112's and 5160 rear remote reservoir shocks? Torn between going from 5100's to those or seeing what OME has to offer seeing as they come with leaf package. Not really for the off-roading type <

    Well my OCD kicked in and I didn't want different model shocks with different mileages, and I did lift the rear about 1.5 inches. Even if it's all in my head, it was worth getting the rear 5100s imo.
