    That makes sense.

    That 2ns part is exactly why I ended up with a 1st gen (specifically a 2004), vs a 2nd gen. It was 2005 when I bought my truck, so the 2nd gens were definitely out there. My truck wasn't all that much cheaper than a brand new one ($24k iirc), but I specifically didn't want the first year of a complete redesign because you know there will be bugs, and 2nd, I didn't want that bigger size.
