2018 TRD off road manual transmission
I just ordered a 2018 TRD off road with manual transmission. This is the daily driver I have always wanted. I decided to order one so I finally have the vehical I want with out all the unnecessary stuff. I have previously owned two other trucks. First Ford Ranger two wheel drive manual transmission. And secondly the truck of my dreams an M35a2 military 6X6. Army truck I still have Ford Ranger is sold. The upgrades I plan to make to my Tacoma are roof racks bed cover and all weather floor liners from WeatherTech.

Being only 3 vehicles, that's a pretty wide array of previous ownership, and current ownership. Still don't know how you can daily a triple solid axle truck and not want to remove your spine after one long drive, but you do you. Welcome, and a big thank you for purchasing a manual 3rd gen... and not an auto. You wont be disappointed AT ALL! The 2GR and new 6spd manual work almost flawlessly, a much better combination than the 2nd gens 1GR and 6spd with issues, its the higher revs that really make it mesh well.

Welcome, are you completely sold on WeatherTech?
I had em in 2 of my trucks and I didn't like them because of how they curled up in the corners when it gets super hot, moves around a bit, and how hard they are. I just got my Husky Floor Liners for my new 2018 TRD Offroad and I love them. They are a bit more flexible than WeatherTech, they go up higher under the pedals, and don't move at all (I was kicking at it without the locks on to see if it'll move). So far, no curling. WeatherTech does seem to hold a bit more water in though, but Husky has done what I needed it do (spilled almost half a gallon of water and it stayed in the liner).

I love driving my M35a2 cross county except for the top cruising speed a 55 miles per hour. It has a Spring Ride seat for the driver seat which makes it really comfortable for going over the bumps. It's awsom cruising down the highway if you can get over the loud engine and slow speed,it's a very enjoyable to drive long-range. That is if you're into driving commercial grade trucks.
