I'm bringing the truck back to the dealer so they can check for leaks and I am curious where is the most common place to leak on these systems. I want to have some idea before taking their word for it since I have no way of seeing it for myself. Thanks

They should be adding a dye to figure out where the leaks are. Typically the rubber hoses at the crimp connection and the seal on the compressor. Could also be a leak in the caps on the high pressure and low pressure side. The caps typically have a small rubber seal in them.

A common question I got over the phone in my HVACR career: It quit working, what is wrong with it? o_O

Condensor (the rad in front of the rad) is known for collecting rocks and birds. Take a flash light and look for any big holes.

Beyond that dye and ultra violet light are critical to diag.

Those caps only keep dust out of the schrader valve. They will not contain pressure of a leaking schrader valve, especially on the high side.
And, they don't keep the outside of the fitting clean. If you don't wipe off the outside before connecting a gauge manifold, you soon will have a leak in the manifold connectors.

    Kinda derailed the thread, sorry.
OP, more info please. Why do you think there is a leak?

I should have been more specific. I took it to the dealer and they added dye and refilled freon because it was very low. Now I am bring it back for a leak check since we know it leaks. The AC works good now that it is recharged. I was just wonering where are the common leaks on our system so I know how to take what they tell me is leaking.
Should I tell them to order a couple schrader valves and have them ready to change if they are leaking so I don't have to bring it back again? Thanks

    Condenser
    Compressor shaft
    Hose crimp
    Some O-ring
    Evaporator core

Roughly in order from most likely to least. At 14 years old, could be just about anywhere. If I took it somewhere and had it dyed, only the evaporator would have me raising my eyebrow, mostly cuz a) you can't see it so it's an easy scapegoat and b) if you're wrong, you just say "well, we didn't see a leak, and the sniffer went off when we stuck it in the vent, so it *must* have been leaking". And because it's not terribly common on these, it's not a Chrysler. The compressor would raise my heckles a little too, but only cuz it's "easy money" and it's easy to 'hide' doing every o-ring in the system when you charged a grand or so for that... but at that age it's not unlikely.
