I thought it was much better than "The Fighter," even though the two brothers entering MMA bout was a bit over the top, it is hollywood after all, the acting was much better.

havnt seen warrior, liked the fighter, but along the lines of that type of movie i like Legandary. Despite not being a fan of John Cena's acting skills, since i wrestled for 6 years i thought it was a pretty good movie

Collateral with Tom Cruise and Jamie Fox. People never remember this movie, but it ahs some of the best on screen weapons handling you will see. The intense relationship between the two characters is great as well.

Edit: how the eff is Office Space underrated? It is widely considered the best comedy of the era.

I agree on KickAss and Collateral.

Boondock Saints was a horrible movie. Possibly one of the most OVERRATED movies of all time. It just has such a legion of fanboys (and girls) that get really, really pissed off when you explain to them why it's awful. Like Coldplay enthusiasts. The sun rises and sets around that movie for them, and if you insult it you might as well have fucked their mom.

Some that come to mind for me:

    - Diggstown
    - A Few Good Men (possibly the only good movie Rob Reiner has ever made)
    - Serenity (strong loyal cult following, but not a huge mainstream one)

Can't think of many off the bat right now, but Sucker Punch was damn awesome in theaters, highly underrated and disliked by many reviewers.

The visual effects/CGI in theaters were some of the best I had seen.

And half naked stripper girls + inception-esque style = Win.

See it to appreciate the kickass stylized action, not the deeper storyline.

The other one I usually pitch in these convos is Sunshine. Danny Boyle's homage to the space-horror genre. Has Chris Evans, Michelle Yeoh, that dude that played scarecrow in Batman Begins, and more. Beautiful visuals, and some intense moments. It received almost no distribution in the US. However, when I travel and talk to Euros or Aussies, they all know the film and love it. So weird.

I was gonna say, the visuals were great. The storyline was terrible. It is worth the watch on blu ray for sure.
