    Just discovered this forum.

Last May my mother-in-law fell at her home and broke her pelvis. That is what kicked off this whole thing. He pelvis has healed up nicely now, but she is currently living in a nursing home. She also has congestive heart failure and some Alzheimers starting to appear.

    She turned 92 yesterday.

This past Sunday we got a call from the nursing home saying she was being taken to the Emergency Room for a ruptured hematoma on the back of her head. (My wife had just been up there to visit her and got back Sunday afternoon.) She was discharged from the hospital late Sunday evening but was taken back to the ER at 3:00am yesterday for an irregular heartbeat.

My wife turned around and drove back (300 mile trip) yesterday morning. We are beginning to fear that this may finally be the beginning of the end for her.

Please keep her in your thoughts.

Prayers headed up. Edited - My Grandma is 94 and dementia is taking its toll...and she's ready to be with my Pawpaw that died in 74.

    Keep your chin up.

    Update:

Update on the MIL. Looks like we dodged another bullet, thank God. She is back at the nursing home now. They are juicing her up with an IV for nutrition but she has started eating a little bit of real food on her own. If things stay smooth over the weekend, Wifey will come home tomorrow.

    Keep them prayers a-comin'.

Long overdue update. She passed away back on February 28. Had she lived another month she would have been 94. :(
