well in the past month i have actually done a couple things to the taco. nothing too exciting though. first one was a hidden hitch that i bought from local memeber kmok. i gave it a fresh coat of paint and installed it. i was surprised i didnt have too much trouble getting the rusty bolt out of the frame. the the second was i put some Hawk LTS pads on the front. the stock pads were wearing out and the super annoying wear indicator tabs were starting to squeal so i ordered the right away from autoanything.com.

How are the new brakes/hitch?

 

the brakes seem strong. havent really had a good opportunity to stomp on them since burnishing the pads after i put them on. i havent used the hitch yet, and dont really plan to very often at all. i dont race any more so i have nothing to tow and dont plan on getting anything to tow, and i also dont have a tranny cooler either. mainly wanted it for winter time to maybe help people out that might have slide into a ditch or whatever. i've been there and have had people stop and help me so i would like to return the favor. only place i wont stop and help someone is on a highway. just too risky with all the "perfect" drivers out there.
