    Hi all,
The frame on my 06 truck was replaced in 2015, and all was well. Last September (2017), I took my taco in for a squeaking noise. They diagnosed it as a loose rear motor mount on driver's side. Tightened it down, etc. It is now March 2018, and I'm here again with the same exact problem.

Even the tech is confused. They should not work loose. I suggested locktite!

    Any ideas??

    Doug

Oh there's NO WAY, I'm paying for this. It's the second time it's been here for the same problem.

There are only two engine mounts on the 1GR. Is the noise coming from the single top nut, or the 4 bolts which connects the mount to the frame?

Regardless, like the others said. They need to use a thread locker. Inspect it afterwards, or have them show you that they used it.

It's the bolts themselves. I was standing there when he loosened one with his fingers and just pulled it out. The front one was loose as well. Both bolts were new (replaced last september when this happened the first time) He for sure used some sort of thread locker on them...

Good. To be honest. I have removed and installed mine many a time. Never had an issue, and never used a thread locker. Always just made them tight.
