Hi friends, bolted up everything but kind of forgot my motor mount bolts (was drinking mechanic life juice) so I have a question in regards to the mount itself. The motor mounts (new) have a slight curve to them , the formed rubber section. Does anyone know which way these curve? I didnt pay much attention to these when I put them on, i figured they would curve slightly ")" on to the chassis perch but can only get 1 bolt in on the back pass. side. The chassis perches are blocking me from aligning them up it looks like as I need to go a little lower and cant because the perches have those little tabs on the bottom of them. (engine perches tight and reused from my model year 96/5vz and not the 2001 they came off of.) Thanks guys

My problem is it sits on the perch but the perch holes are 1/4 lower than the motor mount holes. I swear i put them on right as the mounts have that little alignment pin as a part of them and i swear they could only be installed one way. I will try to get pictures tomorrow. Had to order a ratcheting flex head socket to get the mounts back off if need be.

Looks like there in right, are they left and right, different part numbers?
I’d try taking some weight off them and use a short punch in one bolt hole to see if you can line up another hole and work your way around, if there aftermarket mounts they aren’t always exact match’s and can be a be a bitch sometimes.

yeah so I had to lift just one side of the engine and smash the side down. driver side are both on. managed to realign one of the pass side bolts by jacking up the transmission a little. The bolt by the ac comp is off about half way I think I am just going to let it settle and let the mounts squish a bit (since im not going hunting or camping until cooler months) and hopefully it naturally begins to line up a little better.
