Okey-dokey - Angry birds wanted peanuts & other little things which served as temporary distractions kept me a bit longer. Problem is, they are only temporary, so back to reality....

You should be good to go.

It is one of those jobs that is a pain because of the access .

Thank you. I was very concerned about the part of the bracket the mount rests on.

My past is a "colorful" one. "Book worthy", I have been told on numerous occasions. Abusive upbringing (I actually am diagnosed with amnesia up til 14), tons of jobs (44), moved 26 times & alcohol was my escape. It all hit the fan 17 years ago, to be precise, 3/10/03. That was the last day I had a drink. Why do I "say" all this? Well, as far back as I can recall, I have been a tomboy & I owned tools & did this & that, split my own firewood, changed my oil, but there is an underlying fear that I think comes part & parcel when one is not only unsupported in spreading their wings, they are actually intentionally clipped. & just because the drinking stops, it doesn't make everything better. In fact it brings out the baggage. The challenge is addressing it. One of these things being making the choice to try & repair, & then learn how to support yourself in spreading, said wings. & it's funny cuz for me anyway, it was through my two exes that I 1. picked up a camera & 2. got more involve in turning a wrench. But it really wasn't until a few years ago that I really stepped out & again, I "owe" it to a man, who this time was an incompetent mechanic. I regret that my truck has suffered, as I wish I had learned more about being proactive sooner. I got'a say though, I can really pic 'em, mechanics that is, so I won't take all the blame. Bottom line is I am lucky to have figured out this late in the game some things I am good enough at, how to ask for help & despite the fear & frustration, almost always, how to laugh at myself. I amuse me....

Oh, & it's hard to say for sure, but putting aside the body mount stuff I had to deal with due to the mechanic's mess & the fact that they were my first big job, I think the motor mounts were more challenging. & ya know what? I am going to change my tune there cuz this mechanic was the one that had to fight with the bolts.... Made my job easier, sort of....

& on behalf of me & other ladies out there who can turn a wrench, I thank you.... :)
