Motor noise or Exaust noise

    I don't know if this is normal or not but it annoy's me more then you know.When I accelerate i can hear a noise like ticking or like when you hear the exaust going through to cadailac converter.It is like the floor or the wall is too thin and you can hear it as the motor picks up.Any thoughts??? oh its a 5 day old 2010 DC TRD Sport .

    its the infamous tacoma tick, its normal its coming from the lifters. our trucks have noisy valvetrains...dont worry buddy everything is working normal.

    Drain that dino oil at 500 miles and go synthetic, it will help that tick go away.
