    Thats just it, seems no one wants to dig into this why. I'm perfectly happy with the latest tsb flash that was done before i took the truck from the dealers lot. My buddy had the same tsb on his 2019 trd, except it never ran like mine. It was preformed by a different dealer. I assumed they knew how to do it. There's a whole bunch of these gen3 tacoma's currently on the road....gotta be only a fraction that are unhappy, at least you don't hear them complaining.

    I got an appointment next week but not expecting much. I am going to go with the mechanic on the test drive so he can't say it didn't do it.

    From what the dealer explained to a buddy on his trd saying his truck was within the acceptable performance parameters for that model. Trouble was it wasn't acceptable enough to him. Imo, just like other mass produced cars, and trucks, its a crap shoot...some will run better than others. He got one like others...a little off. It doesn't mean it won't be reliable. Comes down to your not going to satisfy everyone.
