I can only think of one outdoor amphitheater anywhere near me and that's about an hour away in a state park but not sure it's possible to get my bike in the picture. Won't even have an opportunity until possibly this coming Sunday of even then. Have a funeral now to attend Saturday and my older brother is currently in the hospital so lot on my plate right now.l

 

Ampitheater is a tricky one. Sorry to hear that Chuck and hope your brother is doing ok

I found two that are fairly close but not sure if I can get the bike in the pic

 

i was about to say we dont have one but we have 4! if my bike wasnt loaded on a trailer id go after work lol

 

Definitely subbed to watch the pics. Wyoming is pretty empty, so some of these I've laughed because there is no way I could get them. Covered bridges, specifically. I don't know that I've ever seen one in person.

 

@Fulton246 had me laughing when he got it an hour later, I thought that might have been too difficult

 

Give it a minute yet, someone might get one. I have Red Rocks and Mishawaka here, just haven't had time to get to either one.

 

I was wondering if one of you Colorado guys would get red rocks.

 

Yeah, amphitheater is another long shot for this state. All good. I'm just anyway.

 

I have one I could easily snag about 15 minutes from my home but wanted to let others have a chance lol. More interested in seeing other people's pics than stuff and being challenged to find stuff vs seeing my own pictures

 

You’re thinking too big probably. A lot of smaller parks (state/city) have little amphitheaters for 20-50 people.

 

Wyoming is a small city with really long streets. There's less than 600K people in the whole state, and it can potentially snow any day of the year. I'm sure there are amphitheaters, but I don't know of any that are close enough I'd ride the bike to them. Not unless any little stage at a park works. That I have access to, but an actual amphitheater... closest would be across state lines and a few hours travel time.

 

There’s a bunch of them scattered around Wyoming according to google. I know the feeling though, but even Wyoming is crowded by my Alaska standards.

 

Google only showed some in the NW and SE corners and one random one in the middle for me. We certainly aren't as sparse per square mile as AK (no state is), but you've got more people than we do. I'll have to get up there some day. Beautiful country without a lot of people? Sign me up!

 

I'm doing a large outdoor concert today on a hill at work... does that count?
