It's a no go on the Bolt-Bonneville trade. The Bonneville wasn't in that great of condition. It definitely looked better in the pics. The tank had a lot of scratches, some of the chrome on the suspension and wheels had light pitting, and the headlight bracket was discolored due to brake fluid spilling on it. There were a lot of other small issues as well. The only things it had going for it was the exhaust sound (once he finally got it started, lol) and the mileage. I really wanted to like it, but couldn't get there. Just have to wait until a buyer or better trade comes along.

I’m so sick of this useless government office in California. I’ve been calling ALL fucking day to the title processing unit in Sacramento. And every. Fucking. Time. I get the same thing. “We are experiencing a high volume of calls at this time. Please try your call again later.” And instantly hangs up. It’s literally impossible to even speak to anyone to get any information

 

Wait, you mean paying higher tax rates doesn't net better and more efficient government services? For real though, your situation is completely unacceptable. They should have processed your paperwork by now.

 

I understand a few week delay with current circumstances. But 6.5 weeks is unacceptable. They haven’t done anything at all as the only person I was able to talk to today said I had an incomplete transaction in March (when I first initiated the process).
