I have one of those clear clutch covers on my 09 Monster 1100. It is a dry clutch, so the window gets a little hazy and has to be cleaned; but it does a great job of reducing the "rattle" sound of the dy clutch.

Are you going to have all the cops avoid you when you get pulled over the next time?

I “laminated” my expired permit and zip tied it on my plates so hopefully that prevents me from being pulled over lol. And I’m just keeping the fix it ticket with the bike until she signs it off. But I won’t have her sign off on it until I get my plates on there

Thanks for the helpful info. Have you rode a Yamaha XT250? I'm wondering if the power on that is similar to the Kawasaki KLX250?
The WR250R is the bike my cousin has been riding and he seems to really like it.

Let's ride! Meet sometime in the morning? I'm not sure where's a good spot, I'll look around on the map.

    I shouldn't tell this story.

When I was trying to locate an annoying oil leak on my '81 Honda. It was taking many many trials using all the tricks in the book. Found the leak, replaced a gasket. Next day, oil on the floor......... Search continues. This continued for about a week and I was driven to my wits end. I'm sitting on the sofa pouring through all my service and maintenance manuals with much under breath grumbling. My wife begins to giggle...... I ask why she thinks my oil leak is funny. She confesses to making a small puddle of oil under the bike to keep me out in the garage. :annoyed: Why I ask. She continues to tell me she was making my birthday present and didn't want me to see it.:mad: I said it would have been better to just tell me to go ride for a couple hours........just following the front wheel.

    Had to like the present.

Afraid of what other mischief she would employ. Oh, she was using cooking oil, not motor oil...........:frusty: I just cleaned it up, never crossed my mind it wasn't motor oil

Now, I'm just working on the never-ending honey-do list. I've learned not to say anything when the list is running short, so I have a chance to work my list of tasks. My list only has 2 tasks......pull the bike from storage to put it back roadworthy and a couple of small mods to the Tacoma.

@fatfurious2 we could check out this area. It's a few miles south of York, might be some nice back roads by these lakes and parks

Has anyone purchased a motorcycle back from insurance after a total loss? How discounted was it? say 1/4 the cost of current value? more/less? thanks.
