no such thing as a factory wr450x.

but since you already have a fz09 to take care of your speed desires, I don't see any huge advantage of a wr450x over the 250 as a second bike.

I'd say. Looking on Yakaz they are mostly over $4k.

I had a cb350 cafe and I didn't like it. Too slow. But was also a different kind of bike. Im looking for more of a hooligan bike. Not that the FZ isnt one already. Id rather learn on a WR than my nice street bike

WR has a couple hp less than the 350 (when new, who knows how much power was lost over the years) but it's lighter, fuel injected, and has a 6 speed trans.

They aren't "fast" but they aren't "slow" either.

Even the 250 has a 6speed? That is interesting. I may have to send that guy a message.

    I think the 350 had 55hp

I want to, but I want a bruteforcefab high clearance too. I think the bumper comes first, since I have a bike already. There will be others! these 250s dont sell that much because they arent that great for the commuters here

the tire gate is unstable when opened. Also, when offroad, it clanks and bangs around so much that it annoys me. It doesnt have enough support. Its a Pelfreybilt. But they took the swingout option off of their site because they are redesigning it.

I got this one on a whim, used from someone in Baltimore. And in preparation of me getting 33s and not being able to fit the 5th one in the stock location

I would ask 850. I paid 900 about 3 months ago? And then repainted it myself/with Matt. I could even deliver it to you.

I have an extra gusset that Tyler gave to me. But im not sure if it would help with the sturdy-ness.

I'm only pushing about 4,500 miles. But that's with it being in storage for 7 months out of the past 2 years. I want to ride more, but riding the same roads by yourself is so boring.
