Got out for about 2 hours and 80 miles today. Cold but sunny down by the river, up and down a fun grade, and about 10 miles of perfectly packed gravel.

Finally got around to fixing some of the wiring the PO did. He grounded the low beams and only ran power to the high beams. He also powered the display off of the high beams. Now I have functional high and low beams with the display powered off the ignition key.

Only had a Harley for street bikes, but I love mine. I already want to upgrade to a touring cruiser. No complaints about my bike

I actually don't hate it, I think it could clean up nicely and easily with a tail tidy and a different exhaust/get rid of the plastic cover over it.

 

I watched the full length marketing video this morning. I never did see any talk about a KLR. I am hoping this wasn't the only 2021 release video.

On the other hand, the 1" metal tube I ordered was too big. When I went to return it through Amazon, they told me to keep it. I guess Ill need to order some 1/2" for my saddlebag brackets
