Tank is painted graphic. He'd have to wrap it black

It's a sticker. Just clear coated over

Edit: ordered 25sqft of vinyl. Should be plenty and have some extra in case I fuck up

Any of you guys build bikes?

I've got a 2010 Ninja ex250R I'm parting out if anyone wants anything.

Thought I'd sell off the wheels, brakes, calipers, sprocket, axles, and swingarm etc as a package if someone wants to throw them on their dirt bike and run it as a supermoto.

Could do the package cheap. ( like $250 shipped) if anyone is interested.

Have full engine, harness, rad, rr, airbox, etc as a unit I'd ship as well.

    Hit me up!

Sure, as long as it's not in the sidewall (or on the transition point between the tread and the the sidewall). You should have a shop do a proper patchplug repair on it, though. Rope plugs just aren't as good.

Thanks, I need to figure out how I'm gonna get it to a motorcycle shop this week... I guess I can fill it up with air and ride on it slowly to the shop? I don't really wanna load it up in the truck but I will if that's what it takes

Don't use fix a flat or slime on it, whatever you do. Can't fix 'em after that because the adhesive won't stick. And then once it's repaired, maybe keep it under 100mph, lol.

Go to Walmart buy a mushroom plug kit, plug hole, trim plug flush with surface of tire, then ride until the tire's worn out or replace it if you deem necessary (assuming tubeless tires). Tube tires are patch tube or replace tube.

Agree. Just throw a plug in it and run it.

My vote is still for a true patchplug. I'd have no problem running a regular rope plug in a dual-sport or a dirtbike, but in a sportbike I'd want a real repair.

For tube tires I replace the tube if it's a front and just run patches on rear tubes until the next tire change or if I notice the tube is leaking slowly. For tubeless I'd replace the front tire if it had an issue and patch the rear.

My reasoning being having a front tire deflation (or front patch failure) at speed almost guarantees a crash whereas I've had several rear tire deflations at speed and while unexpected it was pretty manageable.

@Sacrifice do you thing the SM dual caliper and handbrake kit would fit my bike? I can't see why it wouldn't...pretty sure we have the same rear brake....just the different swingarm

I believe so. If I remember right the rear is the same brake setup. You thinking the 50stunt? Lot of dough

    Like $700....

I'm seriously considering it. Probably not this year though.

It'd be cool. I'm gonna hit the lot this week/weekend and practice more with some stunt buddies
