It really is. 27,100 miles and it’s been dropped at least four times, and the previous owner laid it down on the right side and it slid for a good distance, judging by the rash all over the fairings.

And yet, it runs great and pulls hard. What more would you need out of a $1,000 motorcycle?

Get out and scoot if you can! Like you said - it’s therapeutic.

Nobody has a “need” for one. But everyone in this thread “needs” one haha.
I’ve been looking at sportsters and Groms on CL lately though. Not because I “need” one...

Haha. I don’t want that one. I found a guy here selling two of those together for half that price. In rougher condition but my recent rebuilt taught me they’re super easy to get running.

1, exactly 1 horsepower. I hear it has a shitload of torque though, it pulls like a horse.

lol. That reminds of my first day at this shop when I came into work with shorts on. Immediately had to leave and go buy pants while I was picking up my steel toes. Oh the joys of going from a family owned to a corporate shop.

Not sure how many of you ride with dedicated motorcycle boots but I just bought a pair of these and they showed up Wednesday.

    https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/tcx-x-five-plus-boots

In the past I've ridden in sneakers when I was really young and dumb then later hiking boots. Older and a little smarter but several years ago I finally made the jump to dedicated riding boots and will never go back. My first pair of TCX boots have finally thrown a tooth off one of the zippers, soles are about bald, and even though they survived my accident in 2019 the shoe goo repair to the toe area has seen better days. This new pair, especially at that sale price, seem like a reasonable replacement. I know how much all of you like a bargain so figured I'd share the info here.
