I'm getting ready for spring here too. Ordered a set of Metzeler Cruisetec tires for the Bolt, read a lot of good reviews on them supposed to be a good sporty tire for cruisers. Also waiting on oil and filters for both bikes.

Got the clutch adjusted today and apparently I installed it successfully. Next up is to install these shiny bits and readjust the free play again after all is said and done. Also re-adding a kill switch and moving the starter button.

my daughter has been asking if she can have a bike. i told her that was 100% up to the boss-lady and the boss-lady told her that it was up to me, since i know more about motos than her.

i guess I could start looking into a grom for her for next year (still 14yo).

I follow her on IG and she’s a powerhouse! I wish I had confidence and skill!

fun fact...my salesman was her salesman when she bought her 2020 GS. I saw the bike on display a few weeks after I got mine!

    None... yet.
That is great! Little bit jealous of that situation! Two daughters, one wife, zero interest other than helping me out on track days...

Regarding tire changing, I found that putting a bit of 303 aerospace protectant around the bead before shoeing them on makes the process much easier. Less mess than soapy water and no issues with slippage afterwards. Only downside is that it is more expensive...

Debatable. At least you don’t have to worry about crazy drivers.
