lol I know this is sad but I have not ridden it at all yet....
only turned it on for a second when i picked it up and for two seconds when i rolled it into the garage...
been pretty much 24/7 with the dog still so just been reading the owners manual and figuring out how to do things properly with this one
still deciding on what skid plate and grab handles I want, more than likely though this wont see a sumo setup for the foreseeable future
new helmet and goggles are in the mail should be here friday
aside from adding a skid plate and grab handles I think it will stay all original throughout the summer and then add some parts during the winter season
full wrap hand guards, seat, headlight, mirrors are all high on the list though
also maybe clean up the tail section, add a steering stabilizer and dial in the suspension

Before my ride with @fatfurious2 Saturday. Really digging the Saddlemen seat, looks and comfort-wise. I would like to clean up some of the wiring and I am toying with the idea of a new exhaust, maybe from Kinetic. But, overall I am very happy with how it sits now.

No one in my state had a PW50, so I ended up with this bad boy.

My kiddo is 3.5 years old, good resources for cheap kid gear? I got my M cert last year at a class but I am very new to motorcycles. My wife wants training wheels but I'm torn. He ran a balance bike pretty good last year fwiw.

My dad and I live across from each other and have decent grassy flat backyards, my dad's is perfect to learn on.

you can usually find lightly used training wheels on ebay for cheap, same with kid gear, at that age they typically grow out of it before ever breaking it in so you can find some nice deals out there for the little ones

put the first 16 miles on it today, hour meter shows .8 now so will prob do the first oil change sometime this week
the owners manual says at 31 miles, but ktm always went by hours up until recently so kinda thinking I might do it at the one hour mark, undecided so feel free to chime in one that...

couple things to note, but all of which I have previously read online and can now confirm first hand:
    1) the seat is legit a 2x4 for the ass, feels like riding on a road bike saddle
    2) she does vibrate pretty good, can really feel it on the pegs through the feet (i am riding in vans not moto boots) also feel it through the bars and seat pretty good
    3) she really likes to die/stall in first gear as you down shift and come to a stop...
    4) i really need to learn how to ride a dirt bike this size, this is not the type of dirt bike I am used to at all...
    5) at only 5'7 I am barely putting a toe on the ground lol... this thing is pretty tall
    6) left side mirror must be broken, I couldnt get it tight so decided to just remove it all together
    7) my dealership has a shit service department, whoever prepped this thing didnt check over anything... at all...

    0.jpg

overall it is a lot of fun so far, the lower wider comfier seat will be a nice upgrade I can imagine, and so will uncorking the thing I bet, maybe trying some clutch weights as well as it seems this may help with the stalling out issue in first gear while idling

The dirt tires are making it feel more "vibey" but overall that newer bike is going to be less than the older ones. I think it has a counterbalancer also?
Uncork/tune and it should get rid of the flame out.
You want a flywheel weight not clutch weight if you go that route
