Heck yes! Can he touch the ground? My almost 4 year old daughter is still way too short for the Pw50 I got her.

He was too nervous to through a leg over it tonight. I had a PW50 last year that I was fixing up but sold it before I got it dialed in. I'm going to try and warm him up to it but get him on the balance bike first, maybe his new pedal bike, then this I think? I don't want to rush it but slowly expose him to it. He did get more excited once it was in the garage though.

Its definitely the knobby tires giving you the vibration. Once you get the supermoto setup you'll see the difference. Night and day.

Can’t wait to get rid of the knobbies on the grom.

I think the balance bike is a good start. There's also the STACYC if you're looking for another option (understanding you just picked up a moto tho).

That's what I was looking at for my kids first ripper. Already got him on the balance bike, and he can’t even stand yet.

I came close to buying a stacyc last year after selling the PW. Honestly the cost on those (for what they are) scared me away in addition to not being able to use dewalt batteries natively. That would be a perfect medium though. If money was no concern the little electric KTM is pretty killer too. https://www.ktm.com/en-us/models/e-ride/mx/ktm-sx-e-5-2021.html

Agreed, I was a bit taken back at their price. Good alternative for training throttle use/control, without having Jr Jr grab a handful and pile threw the fence haha

Those little SX-E's are sweet, but boy howdy is $5k an expensive gamble for a kid. They'd better show potential day one and be racing Lorettas by 1st grade.

I had a Scallywag back in my prime, and that thing was hands down my favorite park board. Even tho Forum was the bastard child of Burton, they always had the best team. Pat Moore is still my fav rider to date

My understanding is it should be easier to learn balance on a moto since there isnt the need to concentrate on pedaling for propulsion.

Only a couple weeks away from my little one showing u0

sold it. We moved from the city last summer out to the country. Grom just wasn’t going to cut it.

Great fun in the city though. Couldn’t slap the smile off my face.
