Ah didn't see three pieces. I use a curved one from Walmart and it's worked alright. It's bent now from dropping the dana60 on it though :anonymous:

I want to build an expo trailer with the RTT up high enough to fit the bike under. Or, build a place for the bike to fit on the back of the trailer or on the tongue some how. Still need the trailer...before i can get started

The FZ seems more responsive today, in the 95 degree weather. Did a wheelie in 2nd for the first time. Still doing power wheelies. Still scared of clutching it

Rtt up front as much as possible, then back the bike on so the handlebars aren't under the tent. Should get the cog a little lowered

I think I'm going to hitch it for a while. Plan to go for 3 days of racing next month one weekend. Trailer is more room than I have right now.
Clutch ups are way less sketchy

Essentially. It takes a lot of practice to do it fluid. It's NOT pulling the clutch in all the way and then revving it up a few thousand and dropping it. it should all be one action with the clutch essentially being a quick snap ( pull it in and let it out right away) and twist the throttle during

Its like feathering the clutch. You just fan it back while accelerating. The harder you snap it and the more throttle you give, the faster it comes up.

You can hear the clutch drop and me chop the throttle as the wheel comes up. When its up, you just have to feel the balance out with the throttle. With a heavyish bike like yours, you'll want to chase the wheelie out so the wheel sets back down more gently. If you slam it down, its much much harder on bearings and seals... YMMV

I'm only mentioning that because you're not starting on a dirt bike. More shit to mess up on a street bike.

I can slam my rear brake mid wheelie and not care how hard the front hits. It can take it. Granted, i'll likely need bearings before too much longer.

If i could i would build one with the rtt on the bottom, yes it would be low similar to being in a ground tent but it would still be super comfy. Then there would be a flip down platform that would go over the top of the rtt supported by the trailer, not sitting on the rtt. The bike wpuld have a track and tie down points up there.

The rim tape sets the bike off very nice, now you can get rid of those stock reflectors and mounts
