Just wait until you start doing longer, more serious miles like 1000 miles in 24 hours. The whole country starts feeling a little smaller.

Yep! Haven’t ridden the SV since then either. Going to try and sell the Matrix this weekend. What I am going to replace it with? Who knows.

07/08 Honda Fit Sport. Ive been having issues with my civic again. Ive been tempted to get a new Maverick, but Im going to stick with putting ebay parts on the civic haha. Its been a year, and I have definitely saved way more than the car cost, since Ive gotten it. I could easily sell it for more than what I paid, now. We will see. I miss a manual beater. Also kinda want a beater scooter to mess around on/commute on, but who knows!

I have put windshield wipers on mine in the last year. If I can get what I paid I will be happy, might even be willing to take a little loss just to get it gone. It needs a clutch and tires. Thinking more along the lines of a Toyota Highlander or Honda Pilot so I can save money on the weekends as well driving to the mountains with the family.

yea! they are awesome for that. Ive fit an XS650 in mine. And you can load up a track bike and ramps in there too. Theyre so versatile! The inside is waterproof, the seats fold together to make a bed, or fold up to carry bigger things, or removed completely. I consider them an OG overlander too. Ursa Minor makes a pop top camper for them too, or they used to.

My vote is a 1997-2001 Honda CR-V. I thrashed one of those all through college. 5-speed with "real time" AWD that worked amazing. Only issues I ever had with it were self-imposed. Plus, the cover over the wheel well (yes, even though the wheel is mounted on the back gate, it still has a wheel well, great for storage) is a GODDAMN FOLDING TABLE :bananadance: That thing came in handy all the time.

The Element was also! But the legs were an accessory. It was discontinued in 2011, so good luck finding those legs. I found some on craigslist years ago for $20, and sold them on ebay for $400. But that was back in 2013
