Tacoma has been sold, but inherited another one that is an absolute beauty of a shitbox.

I'm from down south. My preferred location to ride.

If you had that bike a couple of years ago I waved at you down there. Maybe three . . .
We will be on island from 7/15 to 8/15, hopefully will be able to borrow a friend's CRF250. Not my preferred bike, but the only other dude I know with a bike rides a KLR and those just aren't fun for me on the stuff down south ha.

Hell, yes! I remember feeling that way the first few years (although I'm only into my 4th year so it's not like I'm some grizzled ol' veteran rider)! Have put a little over 30,000 miles in four years on the bikes!

Oh, I have a "Maverick" story! Bought one of the OG's from a family friend for $100 back in nineteen and ninety-two. Ah, that was a good year! Met my future wife and, while she was "accepting" of my Maverick, she did ask that I park it facing uphill at her house. When parked level or facing downhill, it would consistently leak about a half a quart of oil. It met it's demise when I did a rolling stop at a 4 way intersection one morning, not noticing that the field to my left had some crop that had grown up "just" enough to conceal a section of the road from me. Looked all clear and the next thing I remember is climbing out of the car, knowing I had effed up something, but having no idea where I was or what I was doing. The good Maverick's solid body probably saved me from having more injuries than just a moderate concussion...

Bought a very well cared for Element for our oldest daughter a few years ago with well over 100k on it. Still going strong after another 50k and it's quite the little pack mule!

Looking for some advice on adjusting clutches. I can't seem to get the clutch to fully disengage on my son's Apollo pit bike. I've tried the set screw behind the cover on the engine, the mid-point barrel and up at the lever. I've basically maxed out the adjustment and barely got any improvement but at that point the lever was really hard to pull.
Any ideas? Should I be looking into replacing the whole clutch?
