    I like to fill the tank and dose with the proper amount of sta-bil before storing as well. I could be wrong but I think having extra air space in the tank allows for condensation/moisture to collect and potentially lead to surface rust.

    It's still a tank though and if it's steel still susceptible to rust, even if it's not on the motorcycle. Fill it to the tippy top and set it somewhere.

    I typically get all the gas and fumes out before cutting or welding on metal ;) haha


    EDIT: I know you didn’t know that. I have a dent in my tank and figured I’d spend the winter playing around with tape and lines and decide if I have time to chop it up or not. Might do, might not, we’ll see.

    S2 made contact with my fender as I got a little too aggressive hitting a speed bump. Good news is the suspension felt great except for that last little clunk at the end. Guess I should move the light though.
